We operate the website www.TaxiTerminal.cz

In order to provide our services and operate our website, we process certain personal data.

The processing of personal data is governed in particular by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) – GDPR.

I. Processing of Personal Data

If you request our services, we need to process your contact details and other information that you provide to us, particularly through the enquiry or booking form.

For what purpose?

We use these details to contact you in order to arrange the details and course of the service and we also use them when providing the service itself.

What is the legal basis for processing?

The processing is based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR – taking steps prior to entering into a contract or performance of a contract, or Article 6(1)(c) GDPR – compliance with a legal obligation to which we are subject.

How long will we process your personal data?

If no further cooperation takes place, we will process your data for no longer than 1 year from our last communication.

II. Who Has Access to the Data?

Your data will remain with us, except where it is necessary to provide certain data to third parties in order to process your booking. In such cases, we provide only the data that is strictly necessary. For example, we may provide your telephone number to the taxi driver so that the driver can contact you regarding the journey or pickup. Where data is provided to such a third party, we require that party to provide a written commitment ensuring the proper processing of the data provided. We process personal data only within the territory of the European Union.

III. What Else You Should Know

Our company has not appointed a Data Protection Officer.

Our company does not make decisions based on automated processing or profiling.

If you have any questions regarding the processing of personal data, please contact us using the contact form on our website.

IV. Use of Cookies

Cookies are text files containing small amounts of information that are downloaded to your device when you visit our website. The cookies are then sent back to the website, or to another website that recognises them, on each subsequent visit.

Cookies perform various functions. For example, they enable efficient navigation between web pages, remember your preferences and generally improve the user experience. They may also help ensure that advertisements displayed online are better tailored to you and your interests.

Please note that third parties (including, for example, providers of external services) may also use cookies and/or access data collected by cookies on the website.

Further information about cookies and their current list can be found through your internet browser, most commonly using its Developer Tools.

Among other things, the GDPR gives you the right to contact us and request information about which of your personal data we process, request access to such data and have it updated or corrected, request restriction of processing where applicable, request a copy of the personal data being processed, request deletion of personal data in certain circumstances, and, in certain cases, exercise your right to data portability.

These principles are effective from 14 November 2023.
